Baked Sweet Potatoes




Eating perfect baked sweet potatoes is an easy and delicious habit to pick up when you're trying to eat healthy. Sweet potatoes are a staple food in many parts of the world. Sweet Potatoes originated from Central and South America. They are a good source of fiber, potassium, vitamins, and other essential nutrients. They should be baked  or boiled. 

Shopping List

  • sweet potatoes

  • salt 

  • black peppers.

  • cream cheese

  • butter 

  • chili powder

  • garlic powder

  • Rotisserie chicken

  • barbecue sauce 

  • Cheddar cheese 

  • green onion

  • A bowl

  • foil

  • A chef’s knife

  • A spoon

Perfect baked sweet potatoes

-4 sweet potatoes, scrubbed clean 

-4 tbsp. Butter

-salt 

-black pepper 


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. On a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil, prick sweet potatoes all over with a fork.

  2. Bake until tender, 45 to 50minutes

  3. Let cool, then split the tops open with knife and top with a Rotisserie chicken and barbecue sauce

  4. Season with salt and green onion before serving.
